Embracing unity and embodying the Filipino bayanihan spirit are crucial if we are to overcome this challenge of a lifetime.
We are one year into this global health pandemic. Though there is light at the end of the tunnel with vaccines, our country has not yet recovered with COVID cases still rising and hospital capacities dwindling.
It was a challenge of a lifetime — to mount a world-class sporting event given the short lead time, limited resources, and lack of suitable venues.
